Which Fan is Right for Me?
The Solar Attic Fan comes in two embodiments: the roof mounted version and the All Purpose Ventilator. For those with composite shingle or asphalt shingle roofs, the roof mounted Solar Powered Attic Fan product line is an ideal ventilation solution. With only a small opening, it is able to effectively ventilate your attic in a single, self-contained unit mounted directly to your roof.

If your house has a tile roof, the All Purpose Ventilator can be mounted within your attic behind a gable or static vent with the solar panel mounted remotely outside your house. This option will allow you to exhaust the hot air from your attic without the need to cut a hole in your tile, metal, or otherwise non-shingled roof.
The All Purpose Ventilator can also serve as an effective tool for crawlspaces. It can mount underneath your house and remove heat buildup out of a static crawlspace vent below your living space. Click here to learn more about crawlspace ventilation.
For garages, the addition of a garage exhaust ventilation kit will allow you to tunnel the effects of your roof-mounted solar attic fan down through your attic and into your garage. Please contact us for more information about garage ventilation.
