Professional, polite & helpful contractor/installer. Gave us a bag of vents & drill bit needed so that my son was able to install the vents needed in my attic; allowed air circulation. The 2 fans installed are working so well, I can't believe the differance. If I'd known these fans would cool my house like this, I would not have installed the expensive AC. We have a solar attic fan (differant brand) on the other portion of the attic, installed years ago, that does not remove much of the hot air. I'm really happy I was brave enough to give it another shot; these two newer fans really do the job. I'm letting all my neighbors & friends know, particuarly the one's with an old house like mine.

After reading what others have written I can only parrot what they have had to say. I too removed an old electric attic fan (which had a new roof nailed over the old flashing), had it not been for that I believe the unit could have been easily installed and up and running within an hour.

Installed the solar roof fan this am. Took about 2 hrs incl. clean up.Impressed at how easy it was plus the thermostat is included Would have wanted stainless screws but eh for the price I can do the repacement later. This works fine and already drops the temp by 2 degrees from outside No A/C here its a cool 84degrees inside and 86 outside at noon. SOLD!!!!!!!!!

We bought these fans at Costco and had installed and in one day noticed that the a/c took about four hours longer to come on in the dead of heat. We live in central California and when it's hot, it's hot. We also had one installed in our three car gargage to keep the heat out in the summer it gets to be 100 degrees and we have freezer in garage. Would recommend highly to anyone, runs very quite and free with the sun!

I purchased two roof mounted solar fans. Cathy was most helpful in answering all my questions about the fans. I needed extra wire for the fans so the fans could be installed the next day. I rarely post comments about a product unless I really believe in them. We replaced the original shake roof a number of years ago and now have a composite roof. Once we did that, we noticed that our house was so much hotter in the summer months. Last year we had central A/C installed because we had a new addition to the family. The cost to cool the house was very high. I was shopping at Costco with my son and came across the US Sunlight display and representative and I listened to what she had to say. I told her that we would shop and maybe come back. Well, we came back and bought one of the solar powered attic fans. We had it installed and simply love how cool it keeps the house! I am recommending it to everyone we know! We have had some very hot days and I can tell that the house is remarkable cooler since we had the two fans installed (we purchased a second fan due to the square footage).

I just installed the Sunfan All Purpose Ventilator four days ago. It was early afternoon when I connected the power. I noticed how quietly it performed. I had placed a thermometer in the attic space earlier that day and checked it at the time the fan began operation. The mercury column was not tall enough to register the top temperature, but it must have been well above 130 degrees F. in our attic. Checking an hour later, the thermometer read 111 degrees. Yesterday, it read 98 degrees during the mid-afternoon heat. The effect is cumulative and fast. This one Sunfan ventilator is continuing to provide noticable relief throughout our under-attic living areas. we will be ordering an attic fan for our garage next.

Simple as 1, 2 3! One... find a crowbar to pry out the nails holding my old expensive electric fan, and tie off the electrical, never to use again.Two, slide in the new fan in place of the old electric one.Three, wait for the sun to come up and provide me with clean FREE energy to power the new fan! Installed 2 units in a short period of time.  Difficulty came as a result of shingles being replaced a few years ago.  Roofers nailed down electric powered fans, which were no longer operating, under shingles that were to be used as flashing.  Was able to work around this situation.  Very pleased with outcome. Will be replacing 2 other working electric exhaust fans with two more solared powered units.
